Bronte has a way of giving more than the average details/descriptions yes still keeping me completely engaged. I'm reading Villette now which doesn't have quite the same entertainment value but is still good. I completely agree that this is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I read my mom's old edition and it had these awesome engravings to illustrate it and it so went along with the creepy mood. Personally, I liked Jane Eyre better than Wuthering Heights.
