I completely agree that this is one of the best books I've ever read. Bronte has a way of giving more than the average details/descriptions yes still keeping me completely engaged. I'm reading Villette now which doesn't have quite the same entertainment value but is still good.

I've read part of this, have yet to finish it though as it took so long to get even 2/3 of the way through it. What I have read was good so far though. Just make sure you have some time and patience.

Oh, this book is SO much better than Wuthering Heights, which I read in college and really didn't care for or get the point of.

I loved this book! I read my mom's old edition and it had these awesome engravings to illustrate it and it so went along with the creepy mood. Personally, I liked Jane Eyre better than Wuthering Heights.

I've heard that this book is good but it's really long and drawn out. Haven't read it so I can't offer a real opinion, sorry. :(
