I loved this book! Phillip Hoose has the ability to use primary sources, original interviews, pictures, and historical summaries to create a vivid narrative of an important chapter in our history. I always wondered how Rosa Parks decided to stay seated on the bus that fateful day. This book answers the question, and fills in an important back story about a very human and courageous teen named Claudette Colvin.
